Costa Rica's Isla Damas features three types of mangrove forests connected by a myriad of choked and hidden waterways. Guests on this highly recommended tour are often rewarded with sightings of white-faced monkeys, giant anteaters, three-toed sloths, exotic bird species, alligators, boa constrictors, rare crab-eating raccoons, and the list goes on.
A covered motor boat takes you on a cooling ride through the twisted and tangled tunnels of dense mangrove. With each turn you go deeper and deeper into a mysterious and intriguing landscape where each vista seems like a prize-winning image. The tour includes transportation to and from Jaco or Quepos, as well as a delicious lunch served in a local restaurant at Isla Damas.
