A Costa Rica Tourism Fair is taking place at Escazu's Multiplaza.
Costa Rican tour operators are focusing on promoting their services to locals. As things slow down during the Green season, attempts to promote local tourism destinations is their main objective.
In attempts to getting Ticos (Costa Ricans) out to visit their own country, the Costarricense de Turismo (ICT) will be featuring the tourism fair every weekend. You can find discounts of up to 50% off regular prices off on activities and hotels.
This week's fair is focusing on Manuel Antonio, on the Central Pacific coast.
