Costa Rica's 7th Annual 2010 Los Suenos Signature Billfish Series Results

Costa Rica's 7th Annual 2010 Los Suenos Signature Billfish Series finished last month.

Leg 2 consisted of six days of competition with over 43 teams battling it out and released a combined total of 1014 billfish, 994 sailfish and 20 marlin.

One of the newcomers, the "BIG OH" from Jupiter Floridareally shined in the tournament. Captained by Ronnie Fields and manned by anglers Gray Ingram, Page Robertson and Watson Caviness, the BIG OH came in 2nd place in Leg 1, 1st place in Leg 2 and winning the Overall Championship Title including $144,000 in prize money.

The win did not come easy. "Cerveza" out of Spencer Pirate Cove, NC took 1st place in Leg 1 and "Hook" out of Los Suenos took 3rd place in Leg 1. "Da Bait" out of Spencer took 2nd place in Leg 2 and Spanish Fly took 3rd place in Leg 2!

The awards dinners were hosted by ESPN personality Chris Fischer from the well-known Offshore Adventures programs and the jaw dropping Expedition Great White documentary series airing on the National Geographic Channel.

The dates for the 2011 Series are January 26th-29th and March 2nd-5th!
